Abelson Communications, Inc. (ACI), established in 1984 and located in Rockville Centre, New York, is a computer systems company that offers services, systems and programming to businesses. ACI makes sure that any business related computer software, hardware or connectivity runs effectively. ACI installs stock and custom software programs, networks, and computer systems. ACI writes custom software applications and offers evaluation, design, installation, and support. ACI makes product recommendations to protect customers’ investments and to enhance their business. The company has been selling, installing, providing training, and supporting stock accounting software since 1986. ACI sells software that is available in various versions, including single user, network, or client server/structured query language (SQL) and Autonomous System (AS) 400. ACI works with such programs as Visual Accountmate, which is available in LAN and SQL versions, and Quick Books. ACI offers software programs, including Competitive Ad Tracking System (CATS), Subscription Fulfillment (SUB4), and Contact Sales and Prospecting, Advertising Sales, Production Tracking, Competitive Ad Tracking, Reporting and Data Mining (SM4).

The TecTrends live search works as you type shows results in a drop-down box below the search box. The result list includes the name of the company, TecTerm or product along with some information about it and its popularity. Clicking on a record you are interested will display it (if it is a TecTerm it will display records with that TecTerm).

The live search will display the most relevant records and will limit the results by type if any of the Companies, TecTerms, or Products checkboxes are checked. In order to perform a full search based on what you have typed into the search box you may hit the 'Go' button.

Helpful information on the status of your search is displayed on the line above the search box so you can tell when a search is in progress or if no matches were found. You can also use the Options menu to change the result type filters (checkboxes), browse all records alphabetically using the directory, and search for articles.

To close and open the live search result list click on the down arrow at the right of the search box.

To increase or decrease the size of the live search result list you can click on the [+] or [-] button at the bottom of the live search results.
By default the results are sorted by popularity. To sort by record name click on the 'Name' column header and to sort by popularity click on the 'weight' column header.
